Cobham Flight Inspection (CFI), previously known as Flight Precision Limited, one of the leading European suppliers of Flight Inspection services, are expanding their business and are seeking an additional Flight Inspector (Navaids). The job holder will be a member of the operational flight crew, assessing the technical performance of ground-based navigational aids including ILS, PAR, VOR/DME and NDB against National and International Standards. The position requires extensive travel, including overseas, and some weekend and night work. Additional secondary duties may be assigned, tailored to the skills of the successful applicant. The ideal candidate should be qualified to at least HNC level or above in a relevant subject or have extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of Airfield Radio Navigational Aids. In addition, must be computer literate and have experience of using Microsoft Office applications. Full training in the Flight Inspector role will be provided in house. The successful applicant will be required to complete CAA approved emergency aircraft evacuation training. The position offered will have a starting salary of around £30K whilst under training dependent on qualifications and experience.
